BLS (Basic Life Support) for Health Care Providers

The American Heart Association now offers Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers. This class is designed for most participants who provide health care to patients in a board diversity of medical settings; as well as individuals operating a childcare facility or applying for childcare licenses, and most public school personnel. At the end of the BLS for Health Care Providers course, students are eligible to receive a BLS card for adult, child and infant issued by the American Heart Association. A BLS card is given to students at the end of class. Preregistration is required. Please wear comfortable clothing as you will be practicing hands on techniques. Payment is due upon registration. All unpaid registrations will be dropped after 24 hours. **There are no refunds for this class, whether attended or not**

Loan Document Signing Specialist

California notary publics have job opportunities to work in California's real estate industry. This Community Education seminar is an entry level course into the notary signing agent field. We will describe sample loan documents and discuss the role, responsibilities and duties of the notary signing agent. Other topics include how to notarize and journalize documents, manage loan packages, promote and create loan signing opportunities. Job-related costs like the bond, insurance and notary supplies will be explained in class. No refunds or transfers on Community Education courses. Prerequisite: Be in the process of obtaining a notary public commission from California or a current CA notary public. Required Textbook/Study Materials: $49 Study materials and test fees are paid in class with cash, personal check or money order made payable to "Master's Notary Academy". Loan Document "Take Home" Certification Exam: $35 (optional). Course payment is due upon registration. There are no refunds or class transfers for Community Education classes.

Notary Public Seminar

Become a Mobile Notary Public. Make your own hours. Be a more valuable employee. This Community Education seminar is designed to study the notary pubic codes, discuss the resonsibilities and duties of a notary public, and prepare for the Notary Public Exam. This course is approved by the CA Secretary of State and will satisfy the mandated six-hour course requirement for new applicants and for current notary public professionals seeking reappointment. A goverment/state issued 2" color passport photo, Social Security number or tax ID number, and #2 pencils are required. Must be at least 18 years old and a California resident. A background check or live scan will be required to become a notary public. Other job-related costs for bond, insurance and notary public supplies will be explained in class. No refunds or transfers on Community Education courses. Required Study Materials Fee: $49 is paid in clas with cash, check or money order made payable to "Master's Notary Academy". Notary Public Exam Fee: $40 check or money order made payable to "CA Secretary of State". California State Proctors will administer the Notary Public Examination. Course payment is due upon registration. There are no refunds or class transfers for Community Education classes.
