Notary Public Seminar

This Community Education seminar is designed to study the notary pubic codes, discuss the resonsibilities and duties of a notary public, and prepare for the Notary Public Exam. This course is approved by the CA Secretary of State and will satisfy the mandated six-hour course requirement for new applicants and for current notary public professionals seeking reappointment. A goverment/state issued 2″ color passport photo, Social Security number or tax ID number, and #2 pencils are required. Must be at least 18 years old and a California resident. A background check or live scan will be required to become a notary public. Other job-related costs for bond, insurance and notary public supplies will be explained in class. No refunds or transfers on Community Education courses. Required Study Materials Fee: $49 is paid in clas with cash, check or money order made payable to “Master’s Notary Academy”. Notary Public Exam Fee: $40 check or money order made payable to “CA Secretary of State”. California State Proctors will administer the Notary Public Examination. Course payment is due upon registration. There are no refunds or class transfers for Community Education classes.
