CNA + Phlebotomy

This program combines all Certified Nursing Assistant instruction with Phlebotomy instruction and training. This program meets all requirements for students to become a California licensed phlebotomist (CPT 1). The program will introduce students to the field of phlebotomy and provide them with basic and advanced skills in both theory and clinical practice, and prepares student to take the National Cerification Exam by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). This program has been approved by the California Department of Public Health. Please note: for the National Exam, an additional $90 is required on the firs day of class. Payment will be made online directly to NCCTINC.com via credit card only. Visa or MasterCard accepted. Requirements: MUST have a High School Diploma or GED at time of registration; Current TB clearance (within the last year); Vaccination Records must include: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, current flu shot, and COVID 19; CPR Certification; background/drug screening. Students must purchase their own unifroms and supplies. Program cost includes books and classroom supplies. *Financial Aid is NOT available for this program. Additional fees: background check fees, Livescan for CDPH paperwork, shoes and necessary equipment (BP cuff and sphygmomanometer).
