Tai Chi-Meditation in Motion

Tai Chi is a practice that reduces stress and promotes relaxation and wellness. It has been known to boost the immune system, reduce blood pressure, and improve balance and flexibility. The slow, gentle moves along with the breathing techniques help move the qi (life energy) in our bodies. In this beginner’s class, we will focus on the Yang Family Short form made up of 24 moves and a warm–up exercise called the Eight Treasures which is a type of Qi Gong comprised of 8 exercises that focus on different organs.
