Come and create beautiful fashion and beauty looks while working in the TV and movie industry. You will work with TV media, celebrities, fashion shows, magazine ads, photo shoots and more. Enjoy your work and get paid while you’re doing it. Start with a passion and desire to learn, and leave with skills to do fashion/beauty make-up, hair styling, beardwork, character design, monster make-up, prosthetics, airbrush, body art, face painting, and motion picture special effects. The make-up field has grown in the past 10 years over 60% with average compensation at $35,000/year. Financial Aid available. Pre-requisite: If applying for Financial Aid a H.S. Diploma or GED is required. Otherwise, private tuition has no pre-requisite.

What will I do in this field?

Work in cinematography, TV, print/magazine media, advertising, special effects, hairstyling, and bridal and special occasion events. Provide private consultations and build your own business.

What prerequisites are required?

None. Financial Aid is available for this program. If applicant applies for Financial Aid, a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

What skills will student have upon completion of the program?

Beauty and fashion makeup, hairstyling, airbrush, body and face painting, photoshoots, and special effects. Successful students will build a portfolio, resume, business cards, demonstrate interview skills, and negotiate within the industry. Handle contracts, deal memos, and comp cards.
